EAG UK has taken another massive leap forward this week!

I am proud to announce that the EAG UK Forum is now live, it is still in its infancy so there may be a few teething problems. Feel free to report any bugs or problems you encounter as well as suggestions for categories.

More sections will be added to the forum as it grows. Why not head there now and check it out!

  1. What about us Welsh? We are closer, linguistically, to Breizh and I (like many “Taffs”) have followed EAG’s fortunes for many years.

Sadly, I wasn’t in Paris for this year’s Coupe de France finale. I was, however, at the Parc des Princes in 1997 for the tragedy of losing to Nice and at the Stade du Roudourou a year earlier when EAG lost 2-1 in the semi-final of the League Cup to Metz. Robert Pires (who he?) scored the opener for Metz that night.

BTW, I am only a very occasional visitor these days to Breizh, so what news of the 1996-7 players like Hubert Fournier, captain in those long-ago days?

    Andy
