The first friendly of the new season against Setif, 2009 Algerian champions, resulted in a 2-1 win for Guingamp played at Plouagat on Wednesday evening.

The match was basically a runout for lots of players.

4 further substitutions during the second half saw Bassila, Sonkey, Bazile et Diallo replaced by some youngsters from the CFA Team.

The goals were scored by Bassila in the 7th minute and Bazile in the 50th.

Setif scored a consolation goal in the 65th minute.
