Guingamp will face FC Metz tonight in what is their first of three games in eight days.

Metz sit just two places and two points above Guingamp in the L2 table so a victory tonight could see the ‘red and blacks’ leapfrog their opponents.

Guingamp have been poor away from home this season, after a win and a draw in the opening two away games they have failed to win in the last three away from home.

The team have also only managed one goal away from home this season, that was Sebastien Grax’s goal on the opening day of the season away at Ajaccio.

EAG are currently 6 points off the promotion places so a win tonight could help them close the gap on the top three clubs.

FC Metz are unbeaten at home this season and the stats would suggest that this game will go Metz’s way but nothing is certain in football. If Guingamp can start to take thier chances in front of goal then there is every chance of them taking something from tonights game.

Metz will be without first team keeper Christophe Marichez, who picked up an injury this week.

One notable addition to the Guingamp squad is the return of striker Sebastien Grax.

Tonights Squads:

Metz : Sissoko, Ruffier, Vivian, Mutsch, C. Gueye, Borbiconi, Brégerie, Fallou, Rocchi, Johansen, Pied, Frechaut, Cardy, Bessat, Cissé, N’Diaye, Mendy, Bourgeois

Guingamp : Trévisan, Gauclin, Bodin, Delgado, Koné, Bassila, Felipe, Diallo, Colleau, Bellugou, Ogounbiyi, Giresse, Soumah, El Jadeyaoui, Allaoui, Grax.
