Guingamp suffered their first home defeat of the season last night at the hands of Harve AC.
Victor Zvunka opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation with Mustapha Allaoui leading the attack, Alharbi El Jadeyaoui also returned to the team in place of Richard Soumah who dropped to the bench.
Guingamp started brightly creating several opportunities but were behind after just 8 minutes, Nicolas Gillet volleying the ball past Trevisan (0-1, 8 mins).
Harve went on to double their lead in the 29th minute, Stephane Noro striking the ball past Trevisan from 30 yards out (0-2, 29 mins).
Guingamp continued to battle against a team that are flying high in L2 this season and on 40 minutes they pulled a goal back, Ogunbiyi won EAG a free-kick which was taken by Thibault Giresse and scored by Bakary Kone (1-2, 39 mins).
Half-time: EAG 1-2 Harve
Things got worse for EAG in the second half when Bakary Kone picked up a second yellow card and was sent off in the 52nd minute. Despite being down to 10-men EAG continued to battle on and try to get something out of the game. Trevisan also pulled of two fantastic saves to prevent Harve going further ahead.
Full-time: EAG 1-2 Harve
It is obvious that Guingamp are lacking confidence at the moment and need to turn the corner and pick up some vital points in the coming weeks.
