Guingamp will make the 72 mile journey to Vannes tonight for a crucial derby game that could help them kick-start thier Ligue 2 campagin.
EAG have struggled to get going in L2 this season, most likely due to their involvement in the Europa League, Coupe de la Ligue and Coupe de France so far this season. After the defeat at Toulouse in the week EAG now only have the Coupe de France to distract them.
After last nights L2 matches Guingamp are 18th in the league 2 and two points from safety, the team in 17th is Vannes so they have a great chance of getting out of the bottom 3 tonight.
Both sides are struggling with form this season so it should prove to be a good derby match with both teams looking to kick-start their league campaigns, if EAG can get in front early then it will put them in a strong position as Vannes have failed to win after conceding first at home this season.
The Guingamp squad for the game sees the return of Moustapha Diallo from suspension and Mustapha Allaoui could make his return to league action after starting against Toulouse in the week.
The biggest threat from Vannes is likely to come from striker Ghislain Gimbert who has scored 7 goals so far this season.
Guingamp Squad:
Gauclin, Trévisan – Deroff, Koné, Bassila, Delgado, Bodin – Bellugou, Djoman, Diallo, Colleau, Giresse, Soumah, Ogunbiyi – Allaoui, Gilmar
Probable Starting Line-up:
Trévisan
Deroff – Koné – Bassila – Delgado
Bellugou – Diallo
Ogunbiyi – Giresse – Soumah
Allaoui
