Guingamp recorded yet another home draw when they met Tours FC at the Roudourou on Friday night.

Victor Zvunka returned to a 4-4-2 formation with Gilmar and Scarpelli leading the Guingamp front-line and Colleau replacing Kone in defense.

Guingamp got off to a fantastic start, Richard Soumah scoring a free-kick from around 30 yards out after just 3 minutes (1-0, 3 mins).

Tours were a little slow off the mark but once they got going they played some good football, they were rewarded in the 22nd minute when Geoffrey Doumeng cut inside from the left flank and drilled the ball low into the net (1-1, 22 mins).

Guingamp re-established the lead 7 minutes later when a good run and cross by Diallo found Gilmar who picked up his 4th goal of the season (2-1, 29 mins).

Heading into half-time both teams were playing well and creating chances but it was EAG who lead at the break.

Half-time: EAG 2-1 Tours

The second half was played in much the same way as the first, a fast past game with both teams moving the ball around and creating chances. Soumah and Ogunbiyi were causing problems with the ball and Gilmar was causing the Tours defense problems.

Despite the good football being played Tours equalizer came as the result of a goal-mouth scramble, Serge Gakpe with the goal (2-2, 76 mins).

Full-time: EAG 2-2 Tours

In what was a good game between two teams trying to play football a draw was on balance a fair result. It was certainly a more promising home performance from EAG and if they continue to play like that at home then they will undoubtedly win more than they draw.
